Yaggayo art fanss!..

This one's for all who are living in Estonia or just visiting. A selected group of young art students from Tallinn University (including me) have just opened an exhibition in Tallinn, Draakoni Gallery. So far with only opening ceremony and one day been opened, it has allready found quite a lot of peoples interest.. and yes, it is bit different exhibition where every day one or sometimes even two of our students are present to welcome you with smile and warm greetings and willing to present the works or answer any question that may arise. Artworks are varied from drawing, photo, video to installation like boardgames. Mainly, artists, with these works are trying to identify themselves, our generation, our living style and environment, but we also hope to show that what we are worth, that we are ready to lead world into better future - so these pieces are in one hand really youthful and ultramodern, yet in other hand we don't fight against the past but are trying to show what can we do from it. We hope that world can come more artfriendly and art more human friendly in near future. We hope to make it more active and positive for people to visit galleries. Our hopes for the future are great and glorious.. so take your part by visiting us. This exhibition is opened until 26th april in Draakoni Gallery, Tallinn oldtown, Pikk street 18. Gallery is opened from monday to friday 10.00-18.00 and at saturdays 10.00-17.00. You can also call to gallery managers 6464110

Well, the other part of this announcement is also for Finnish or for those who visit Finland's capital Helsinki in a first half of the may, because after our current exhibition ends, we also show our works in our traditional every year AHNE exhibition. AHNE was started by our university art department and Helsinki's TAIK (Their probably best art university). Last year also Estonian Art Academy and art universities from some other countries joined in this project. I still don't know which schools take part of it this year, but i try to give more information soon. Anyways, this year AHNE will be in Helsinki's old gas factory, that will specially adjusted to fit the art exhibition.
